Pumzu works without an account. Game progress, favorites, sound preferences and the optional beta diary are stored in your browser. The diary is separate from analytics, stays off by default and is never sent automatically.

If analytics is enabled for the site, it still starts only with your separate permission. Pumzu then sends basic page views and game open, start, finish, retry and share-button events to Google Analytics and PostHog. These events use a random session-only identifier and may include the culture, language, game, mode, level, win result and page path. They never include typed searches, save data, URL queries or hashes. Advertising signals, person profiles, automatic capture and session replay are disabled.

You can accept, decline or withdraw analytics permission from Privacy settings. Withdrawing stops new analytics events. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes locally saved progress and preferences. Saves from the earlier Val Town sites remain on those sites and are not automatically imported. Vercel hosts the site and may process ordinary request logs.
